“The first of its kind in Central New York, Good Dog Park is located in the Cold Springs section of Onondaga Lake Park and is open from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week year-round. Allowed to exercise without leashes in an area devoted just to pets, dogs are 'barking up a storm' about this 40,000 sq. ft. fenced-in area includes an exercise area with tunnels, jumps and bridges, and of course - red fire hydrants. There is plenty of seating on the commemorative benches located both inside and outside of the fence, drinking water and several waste clean-up stations. A double gated dog entrance keeps dogs inside the enclosure from running out each time another dog enters. Small dogs have the choice of mixing with the big dogs or can play in a separate area for dogs under 25 lbs. ”
Great park!I've been to this park a few times. My Mom and Dad love to take me there and take pictures of me playing with the other doggies. So far everyone we've met there has been great! If you see my Mom there with her camera, say hi! |
The Best TimeOliver and I go to the Dog Park at least once a week. The only downside is that it's so far from our house. Nonetheless we have tons of fun there. We like being able to run free without momma and dadda worrying about us getting lost or running away! We've met some really cool pups there and tend to be a little afraid of the bigger dogs! |
I love this place!I really love when Mommy takes me to play at the dog park! I can run and play with other doggies and get plenty of exercise playing on the equipment they have there! I just wish more people would clean up after their dogs cuz I hate stepping in poo, but I definately reccomend this place to other nice dogs who wanna play! |
