KHS is one of the oldest animal welfare organizations in the nation and Louisville's only private, non-profit animal agency that is also open admissions, choosing to accept all dogs and cats in need. Already known as the state’s largest animal adoption agency, in the last 10 years, KHS has expanded its programs into dozens of counties to become the area’s number one resource for pets and pet services.
