Did not like the grooming!

I took my small dog here to be groomed and she was in good shape, it had been her regular 2 month grooming appt. So she was not tangled or matted to an extreme. Although when I picked her up later that day, both of her ears were cut and bleeding. They told me her ears were not cut, but they were matted UNDER the hair, near the skin so they had to brush and shave them, so closely to the skin that her ears bled. Although I find it hard to believe seeing as how no matter how much I tried to control the bleeding, it wouldn't stop immediately and she continued to shake her head all the way home, splattering a little blood over our car and doors in our house. The groomer did not apologize. The owner, I believe, gave us a discount and said sorry. But I will never take my dog back to that place. I know her hair was not in the type of condition that requires rough brushing against her tender skin, enough to make both ears bleed and a scar to form that stayed for weeks. At least the groomer could have been kind and talked to us, she walked right by as the owner was saying sorry... I just don't have a good feeling about the services at this facility.
