Viral Vid We Love: Mad Max Drools Like a Pro for His Dinner

All this Australian Cattle Dog can think about is dinner, while all we can think about are those drool bubbles -- what volume!

We love dogs because dogs don’t give a bark about anything!

This Fourth of July, while you were gearing up the grill, we know you found yourself salivating over the mere thought of those hamburgers or veggie patties you were about to cook up, but did you let yourself visibly drool?

As anyone who’s ever seen a dog within snout range of a BBQ can tell you, dogs drool when they smell something meaty and delicious. And they don’t care if they’ve got saliva puddling around their paws; they don’t care if they seem like hedonistic hogs as they sit patiently beside you, eyes wide, tail wagging, praying for some morsel to magically leap from your hands and onto the floor. They’re dogs — they follow their, ahem, gut instincts. And we love them for it.

So Mad Max, this adorably anticipating Australian Cattle Dog, is totally unfazed by the drool bubbles blowing from his waiting jowls. It’s dinnertime, folks, and Mad Max is first in line! Look at those pricked ears, those unwavering eyes — Mad Max is here to eat.

And we bet every doggie across the country wore the same expression as their humans drank cold sodas and chowed down on BBQ for the Fourth … and we hope they all got a little snack off the grill. Why? Because we love them.
