Talk about camoflauge! At least this dog’s owners don’t have to worry about the annoying problem of hair messing up the rug. Actually, maybe the rug was made from the dog’s hair? Chiengora is the term for the soft hair or fur some people collect when their dog sheds. They make it into yarn, or have someone do it for them, and can create all kinds of beautiful items, from socks to hats to rugs. I’m in the process of getting a guest blogger to write about this topic. In the meantime, don’t curse your dog’s shedding fur this spring — start collecting it! (Some fur is better than others.
