While there are quite a few pet-friendly restaurants and hotels in Laramie, there don’t seem to be many off-leash, dog-friendly dog parks. However, we located four off-leash parks that allow your pup to run unhindered and enjoy the company of other canines.

1. Optimist Dog Park

  • There are poop bags, but it’s best to bring your own
  • The dog park itself is a bit small

  • Right off the freeway, so it’s easy to get to
  • Clean grassy and dirt areas
  • Has benches and picnic tables for pet parents to rest
  • Separate area for dogs under 30 pounds
  • Has an agility course for active pups

Remember to take your leash with you,  as you never know what can happen, and you might need it. Most of these dog parks have water and poop bags provided, but it’s still best to take yours with you to be on the safe side.
