Whether you live in Laramie, Wyoming, or you’re just passing through on vacation, you may want to visit an area that allows you to take your canine pal. While there are quite a few pet-friendly restaurants and hotels in Laramie, there don’t seem to be many off-leash, dog-friendly dog parks. However, we located four off-leash parks that allow your pup to run unhindered and enjoy the company of other canines.

1. Optimist Dog Park

Off-Leash: Yes
  • Has water, plenty of shade, and benches
  • Might need to bring extra poop bags
  • Dogs and pet parents are very friendly
  • Multiple entrances
  • Large space for dogs to run

2. Love’s Travel Stop

  • Perfect for traveling canines
  • A fully fenced area
  • Has a waste station
  • A unique dog-friendly gas station and off-leash park

  • Park is fenced in but only has one gate for entry
  • There are poop bags, but it’s best to bring your own
  • The dog park itself is a bit small
  • Bring your own water

These are the best off-leash dog parks in Laramie, WY that you can take your furry friend to when you’re in the area. Remember to take your leash with you,  as you never know what can happen, and you might need it. Most of these dog parks have water and poop bags provided, but it’s still best to take yours with you to be on the safe side.
