  • This 1-acre park is entirely fenced-in
  • Trees in the area provide natural shade

9. Barkhaus Off-Leash Dog Park

Open Times: 5:00 PM–9:00 PM from Monday to Thursday, 5:00 PM–10:00 PM on Friday, 11:00 AM–10:00 PM on Saturday, and 11:00 AM–8:00 PM on Sunday

  • Barkhaus is a bar and restaurant that includes an off-leash dog area
  • It is the first of its kind in the DC Metro area
  • Off-leash dog area is indoors and outdoors
  • Your dog will need proof of vaccination in order to enter and will need to remain on a leash while in the restaurant

  • Separate on-leash and off-leash areas in this park
  • No fencing in this park, so keep a close eye on your dog
  • Your dog will need to be up-to-date on all vaccinations
  • Even if you stay in the off-leash area, you will need to bring your leash in case it is required
