Final Thoughts

Dog parks make vacation time more enjoyable for your furry friend and help them acclimate to their new home more quickly. Whether you’re only here for a short time or you plan on calling Albuquerque your new home, try to check out some of these dog parks while you’re in the area.

All of the ones on our list are owned by the city of Albuquerque. Unless otherwise noted, they’re open from 6 am to 10 pm., although some of them may not be lit, which may make them unsuitable for nighttime fun. All dogs are allowed to play in the park for free, as long as they aren’t in heat. Also, unneutered males may not be allowed in off-leash areas. Always call before you go if you have any questions.
