Our Experience With Moon Mother
For approximately two months, I provided my senior do, Turtle, with a dropper full of Moon Mother CBD oil over his dinner. At 13 years old, Turtle needs all the help he can get to feel good, and CBD is a great all-around supplement. CBD is also known to reduce inflammation and pain, which makes it a perfect addition to any arthritic dog owner’s wellness toolbox. I had no issues administering the liquid to Turtle, as he ate it up along with his food, and he experienced no digestive upset from this brand.
I love that Moon Mother uses only organic ingredients, and appreciate that there are no unnecessary flavorings or preservatives in this hemp oil. While I didn’t see a miraculous improvement in his mobility during our trial, I still feel confident that Moon Mother CBD oil is a worthwhile aid to any dog’s overall health. I also like their CBD Balm for Pets, and have used it several times on a spot where Turtle has been licking on his foot. It seemed to soothe whatever pain or itch Turtle was feeling in that spot, and he did seem to lick it less while I was using the balm on it, until finally the issue resolved.
I also received a couple of Moon Mother sample balms for humans–their muscle balm and the skin balm. I used the skin balm to soothe small itchy spots I get occasionally on my arms. The smell was a little medicinal for my liking, but the formulation did seem to help relieve the itch.
I got more use out of the muscle balm, since I work long hours that leave my lower back aching by the time I get home at night. A generous application of Moon Mother CBD Muscle Balm combined with a heating pad, and I was feeling good by bedtime, allowing for a comfortable night’s sleep.
