One of the most well-known Labrador breeding kennels in Oklahoma is Sooner Labs. This kennel is in Shawnee, Oklahoma, located just slightly southeast of Oklahoma City. They are a very well-reviewed kennel as seen by the many testimonials on their website.

The owner has a long history of experience with dogs and began raising his top-quality Labradors in 2009. Each puppy comes micro-chipped and up to date on shots and regular worming. The parents of each litter are health tested and the pups come with a 2-year health guarantee.


2. Flushing Kimber Kennels

Flushing Kimber Kennels is located in Inola, Oklahoma, which is not far outside Tulsa. This kennel is named after their own Labrador, Kimber. They strive for high-quality lineage and specialize in “working” Labrador Retrievers with a focus on waterfowl and upland game.


3. Bar A Kennels

Bar A Kennels is located in Northeastern Oklahoma between Pryor and Adair. This small farm puts its focus on high quality, intelligent Labradors. They offer yellow, white, chocolate, and black Labrador puppies. Their dogs come with AKC Field Champion, UKC and HRC Hunt Test, and Pointing Lab pedigrees.


4. Big Thunder Kennels

Big Thunder Kennels is a small kennel located in Guthrie, Oklahoma that breeds Labradors for both hunt and show. Puppies from Big Thunder Kennels will come with their first shots and deworming as well as a microchip. This kennel graciously supplies a puppy pack with your new pal’s toy, food samples, and shot records. Your pup’s breed registration, microchip registration, and pedigree will be completed by the kennel.

The contract and health guarantee are included in the purchase and copies are provided upon pick of the puppy or by email. All puppies are sold with limited registration unless breeding rights are granted by the kennel.


5. Abbott Kennels

Located in Adair, Oklahoma, Abbott Kennels strives to produce well-tempered, high quality Labradors with champion lineage. This kennel has been in the breeding business for over 30 years and has earned a great reputation along the way. They advise that their puppies are members of the family that also participate in duck, quail, dove, and pheasant hunting.


6. RockErin Kennels & Retrievers

RockErin Kennels is located in Stillwater, Oklahoma, home of Oklahoma State University. They have been breeding since 1980 and emphasize field performance, health, and longevity. Not only are they breeders of Labrador Retrievers but Golden Retrievers as well.

All puppies come warranted against hip and elbow growth disorders and homozygous genetic defects such as centronuclear myopathy and exercise induced collapse. RockErin Kennels advises they only breed a few select litters each year. This facility also participates heavily in dog training as well.
