At least one US Senator is paying attention! I don’t know Senator Durbin but I think I like him.

In response to the outcry over the huge pet food recall that began in late March, U.S. Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois will hold a public news conference on pet food safety tomorrow afternoon in Chicago.
Senator Durbin will address how the FDA regulates the pet food industry, as well as the Menu Foods recall and its nationwide impact on pets and their owners. He will announce plans to work with Senator Herb Kohl (D-WI) to hold a Congressional hearing on the recall when the Senate reconvenes on Tuesday,April 10.
