They are a high-energy and intelligent breed that thrives when they have a job to do, like scent work or agility training. Beagles are cheerful, affectionate, and love having company to keep them busy. They are eager to please but can be challenging to train.

A Bichon Frise is the ultimate cheerleader. They think everything you do is the most awesome thing in the world. They can sometimes be a bit like Velcro, but their charm and intelligence will win you over. These sunny-natured pups are extremely affectionate and cheerful, with big personalities that don’t seem to match their small size. The Bichon Frise adores pleasing their family members and is great for homes with children and other dogs.

They’re happy roughhousing with the kids or snuggling up next to you on the sofa binge-watching Netflix.

French Bulldogs were bred to be the perfect lapdog and are perfectly content sitting on your lap and having a snooze. They’re friendly to their family members and very willing to please. Frenchies are fiercely loyal and will happily, and quite literally, follow their owners to the ends of the Earth. They may be little, but they have a lot of love to give and are always willing to shower their owners with lots of affection.

9. Golden Retriever

Goldens love to be near their family members and need a fair bit of attention.

Conclusion

There certainly are many people-pleasing dog breeds out there, but the 10 above are the most likely to wow you with their eagerness to please. But, of course, all dogs have their personality traits regardless of breed. Even within a breed, you might wind up adopting a particularly stubborn or independent dog that couldn’t care less about what you want it to do. On the other hand, you could adopt one whose sole purpose is to do whatever it can to make you happy.

We’re certain you’ll have a new best buddy for life, regardless of which breed you choose to add to your family.
