I got my Gr. Dalmatian as a rescue. It was advertised as a Dalmatian but when I picked him up, his head and chest told a different story. He's 60-64 lbs. and certainly has the Dals coat. I have a trainer who teaches ME how to handle him correctly ( there's a ton I don't know).This particular dog has a mind of his own and is hard headed. I work on recall and basic manners every day. I walk him 5 miles/day rain or shine. we go on pack walks for socialization every week and this has been a godsend for him in being with other dogs. He's very energetic but somehow a big cuttle bug at the same time. I've had him for two years now and never leave him alone in the house, period. Do not get this dog if you're looking for a vanity dog. I'm the luckiest guy on Earth.
