He appears to be a Redbone Coonhound/Foxhound mix. He is a very handsome dog.

He looks like he has some sort of hound in him, just from his face and stance. Keep posting pics and as he gets older, maybe around a year, post in the forums where we can start a dialogue

I can potentially see some Redbone in that little guy! He sure is a cutie. I guess one way to tell is after those vocal cords develop, see if he acquires the hoooOOOooound dog howl. :-) Another thought may be Rhodesian Ridgeback, but the ears and face don't quite match up. I'd say to post more pictures as he gets older. Sometimes the breeds become more evident as their bodies mature.

You can always do a dog DNA test to see- Kind of looks like a golden from afar... but just google "DNA dog test" I think it's around $60 though, so it'll cost :(.
