what are blood parasites? and how do dogs get them...can it get transfered to ppl?...and is it dangerous to have a dog that has em?...

They are worms or larvae which live in the blood stream. What comes to mind first is the larvae of heartworms... this is the main way vets can tell if your dog has heartworm or not.
Whether or not they are contagious to people depends on what type of parasite your dog actually has. These are questions you really need to ask your vet...without knowing what type of parasite your dog has none of us can give you any help from our experiences.
