He's very handsome.

I think he probably does have some lab in him (chocolate lab) or maybe even chesapeake bay retriever in order to get that coloring.

His head is very pit bull terrier looking (or maybe staffie) especially with the short ears and how he's broad across the temples. But I almost see some chow in there, too. The tail makes me think that, but also there's something about his face that reminds me of a chow.

Now, keep in mind that your dog could be an infinite number of mixes, so he might not fit the mold of just one or two breeds. His parents could have been three or four things each themselves! And as for the webbed paws and lack of water-love, well....I had a black lab/german shorthair pointer mix who hated water. Maybe two water/hunting dogs cancel each other out? The webbed feet are usually only on purebreds anyway, though you do sometimes see them on mixes.

As for the aggression, definitely seek help from a trainer.

You might consider part shiba inu, or akita. I could see both in facial features and tail. However I see pitt bull right away when i see that face. Coloring and build chocolate lab. as for the tail, i've seen some labs with a curled tail, now i cannot say for sure that they are pure bred, because i know the standard the tail has to be straight. And i have a lab/pitt bull mix (lab head, pittbull body), she hates water as well. But maybe keep looking, and compare. He's very cute, and as long as you love him, that's all that matters.
