Prior to taking my 13 yr old lab/shepherd mix off of steroids he was able to walk not well but was able. He was on steroids for back issues for 3 years. Within two weeks from taking him off of steroids (5mg per day) and giving him Previcox he couldn't walk so the vet put him back on steroids (20mg per day) after waiting for 5 days so the Previcox would be out of his system. We had to put him down 1 day after starting the steroids. On his last day he couldn't even stand, his stomach was bloated and he was drooling (a little). What happened?
