New puppy at home,Labradoodle. Need advice on going from paper trained to crate training.

Pup home kennel raised, has been in 5' x 5' pen with blankets and paper. I've had this 11 week old pup for 2 days and trying to crate tring and house break pup. Question; after eating I bring outside in 15 min, the pup loves it outside and plays and does not relieve herself. Love playing with her, but waiting an hour for her to relieve herself is brutal and I'm sure not the way. New at this but I heard the pup should relieve herself within a half hour after eating. Any advice please?

You should teach the dog that you go potty outside. So if she doesnt go in 5 min, take her inside and put her in her crate, wait 5-10 more minutes and take her out again. When she goes, praise and treat her, and take her inside to play for 45 min before she goes back up. Dont worry yourself with the half hour rule. As long as she learns that outside, not inside, is wear you potty, you should be fine. :)
