My dog suddenly hates me.
I've had my dog Sam for about 2 years. The breeder is a family friend so I actually saw him be born and took him home exactly 8 weeks later. He learned fast. He knows a variety of tricks and seems to enjoy "training time". He is great off the leash, loves car rides, loves going out and shopping. Basically is ecstatic to go anywhere with me. Potty trained except he is not neutered which causes a dominance problem when we travel to other homes with other male dogs. Well recently he started attacking me. He seems fine most times until I try to make him do something he doesn't particularly like. Best example, when I leave the house for work, I put him in my bedroom. He's very accustomed to this and usually goes with no problem until recently. He growls, snarls, and bites. The other day he drew blood. This has been going on for less than one week. I'm very upset and confused at his new-found hatred towards me. Any answers?

A sudden change in behavior can mean a medical problem. He may be in pain, and dogs are good at hiding pain and illness. I'd have the vet look at him to make sure everything is alright.
(On a side note, and I'm just curious, how well-socialized has he been with other dogs? His not exactly getting along with them may not necessarily be because he's intact. Cookie here, female, didn't get along with other dogs well, and she was spayed at the age of one. I attribute it to her lack of socialization in her younger years (and what I'm told about her having lived with another dog that didn't treat her well as a puppy).)
