My dog got castrated 6 days ago and it still seems to be really painful.

His pocket (testicules) is also big as a persom thumb.
It is hard for him to pee. Is that normal after 6 days?
When he starts walking, he whines, shrieks in pain and he is panicking.

PLEASE don't take a chance on this!! Call your vet or take him back in immediately. Just think if it were you (if you're a male) or if it were a human in that kind of pain. I don't think that's normal--not after 6 days. His whining and shrieks is the ONLY way he can tell you that he needs your help.

Also, if you don't already have it, PLEASE get pet insurance for your new family member. It just might make the difference in his life or death and saving you thousands of dollars. We've had it for 10 years and have saved THOUSANDS of dollars with our 2 Cockers. Pets have accidents and unexpected illnesses. Don't have to make a discision based on your bank account. We have 24PetWatch & you can choose your level of coverage. And, I've heard that TruPanion is good because they cover congenial & hereditary illnesses. Good luck! TAKE YOUR BABY TO THE VET NOW!!
