My 6 year old lab/German Shepard won't come near my 3 1/2 year old niece.
My dog always loved kids and adored my niece he always played with her and would always follow her around. But recently he will leave the room the minuet he see her. We don't know if its because she too loud for him or because my sister pregnant and he is acting strange around her and my niece because of that. Is there anything I can do so I can get him to stop running away from her?

The first thing I would do is schedule a vet check-up. He may be developing arthitis or hip issues. Pain may be making him avoid her, Toddlers move erratically, & trip, & bump. Make sure to supervise them at all times.

I would be more concerned with protecting your dog from the child, rather than stopping him from escaping a bad situation. Keep the child away from him, give him a crate to hide in, offer him a safe place to get away from the child. He has a reason, you just don't know what it is.
Also, heed the other answer: he may be in pain.
