Is my dog missing being a mom?
I have an unaltered, four year old female Chihuahua. Lately she walks around with her fav toy (stuffed animal) and whimpers. She takes it with her to her bed and won't leave without it. She will also stay there all day. She has done this once before. It lasted a few days and then she was back to normal. Is she longing for pups?

Has she been through a false pregnancy recently? This kind of behavior seems to go along with that from what I've read.
It's not a good reason to breed, no.
