They stop mouthing/biting at all different ages. Some dogs never really grow out of it. You can try distracting him/her with a toy or a bone. You can say Ow really loud each time he/she does it. Then stop interacting with him/her. It will take some time, but he/she will catch on. Good Luck with your pup.

puppy biting lasts untill you dont find it cute anymore and start diciplining your puppy to behavebettter, by not allowin you puppy to bite you. if you let your puppy bite you, its likely to remember that biting is ok when it grows into a mature dog. if you continue to allow your puppy to bite you it will never learn to stop.
