Can a dog have honey? I wanted to put some inside her kong to see if she would like it.

Yes, dogs can have honey. Honey is great for dogs and also has many health benefits.

Hold on a minute. If your pet is allergic to insect stings or bites, particularly bees, NO it is not safe to give them honey. Honey is not safe for all pets, nor is it safe for all humans.

If you have allergies to pollens, grass, flowers, etc., and dogs also have these allergies, it is NOT safe to give them honey.

I found out the hard way. Check first. Natural doesn't always mean safe.

Honey is fine for dogs unless theyre allergic to bees or any of that kind of stuff. Honey has lots of sugar, and sugar is bad for dogs, so be sure not to give your dog too much. So yeah, just make sure your dog doesnt have allergies.
