It probably seemed like a right neighborly thing to do. A man passing by a Livingston, Mont., home reached over to give the resident dog a biscuit, and found himself flung up against a garage by the dog’s owner, according to an AP story.
Talk about a knick-knack paddywhack.
It seems the owner thought the biscuit-giver was trying to poison his dog. He was not, police say. The owner has been charged with misdemeanor assault.
What do you think, Dogsters? If you saw a man reach over your fence to give your pooch a treat what would you do? Thank the person for being so kind? Ask what he’s doing? Or stop him however you could, and ask questions later?
