It doesn’t matter who makes them: Videos of dogs feeding themselves with human hands at the dinner table work every single time.
The folks at Freshpet have taken the genre to its next level. In “Le Holiday Feast,” not one, not two, but 13 dogs (and one cat) take part in a traditional Christmas meal in a most untraditional way — especially the one pooch poaching silverware. And you thought your family gatherings had drama!
But if the video isn’t enough to put a smile on your face, the fact that the folks at Freshpet enlisted the help of the Humane Society of Utah for the video should be, as many of the stars are available for adoption, and Freshpet has pledged to pay the adoption fees for any of the animals who appeared in the clip. It’s all explained in a behind-the-scenes video that shows what exactly went into the making of what is — hands-down (or is that up?) — the most fun holiday treat this season.
So raise a glass, grab a fork, and dig in to the silliness. It’s finger-licking good!
