Yours truly failed chemistry spectacularly in high school, terminating my blossoming science career. Did you know I was going to cure cancer? That dream came to its knees at the hands of a particularly difficult chemistry final that no amount of extra tutoring from my teacher could prepare me for. When it turned out I wouldn’t be part of MIT’s graduating class of 2007, I turned to the arts instead. And hey! Now I work at Dogster! So I guess I didn’t fail completely.

Maybe I wouldn’t have crashed and burned in chemistry had I had the assistance of Paige and Dexter, two smart dogs who teach chemistry. Using hula hoops, dog toys, and symbols, Paige and Dexter demonstrate what happens when opposites attract and chemicals bond. Watch and learn.

I still don’t know anything about chemistry though, except the observation that when I look at dogs, all thoughts vanish from my mind save for, “I want to pet that dog!” and I want to bond my hand to their shaggy coats. It’s scientific fact that I can’t resist petting a cute dog.

This also serves as proof that dogs are smarter than cats. Have you ever seen a cat teaching science? No! So there.
