What Makes Cockapoos Unique

First, let’s have a look at what makes Cockapoos unique and stand out from other breeds, as certain qualities and characteristics of the breeds may help narrow down your search for the perfect name.

Cockapoos are what is known as “designer dogs”, meaning that they are not a true breed, but rather a hybrid of two purebreds—Cocker Spaniels and Poodles, in this case. They can range in size from miniature or toy to medium-sized, depending on the breed of poodle that is used to create the hybrid. They all tend to exhibit a shaggy, wavy coat of varying colors. You can find Cockapoos of almost every color and combination, with the most common solid colors being chocolate, black, red, apricot, and cream.

Now that we have a sense of the Cockapoo as a breed, let’s get down to business and find the perfect name for your new bundle of cuteness.
