Dogster Photo Contest: Dogs of the Week Winners (August 14, 2025)

This Week’s Winner

Name: Ivy
Breed: Aussie Chi
IG: @ivyleaguelifesaving
Fun Fact: Meet Ivy—CEO (Canine Executive Officer), professional heart thief, and part-time sass queen. She’s beauty, brains, and bold enough to raise the roof and her paw for a high five—if there’s a pepper involved. 🌶️ She steals every room she walks into, and I’m just her assistant with a clipboard. I study animal-human bonds, and owning a dog can add 15 years to your life… which makes sense, because Ivy is the reason I’m still here. Cute, clever, and a little dramatic—just how we like our icons and with today’s society, I honestly believe that she is cognitively advanced because she does clever things sometimes and gets away with it by tilting her head.”

Fun Fact: “Harper is a 1 1/2 year old rough collie who I adopted from South Dakota. She loves to pose for photos and will literally run to a spot and plop down. Put a cookie in front of the camera and Harper is ready to smile. She’s loves chasing her brother cat, Milo and her best friend is cousin Willow a German Shepherd.”

Cutest

Name: Flynn
Breed: Dachshund/Terrier mix
Fun Fact: “Flynn is a rescue. One of the smartest dogs I have ever had. Leaves a toy outside and I ask him to go get his toy – he comes back with the same toy (not just any toy). Just a great all around dog.”

Sleepiest

Name: Cooper

  1. I love the positive reinforcement that pet parents are parents too, and that we feel proud of little achievements and that this is the platform that we can submit to. We may not all have report cards to show off, but little wins like this are enough to make someone’s day and a big smile.

    1. Hello Elle,

thank you very much for your lovely words! We are happy that we can provide pet parents with this mean of showing off their pups and that you enjoy the photos!
