    About Bully Products

Bully Max was created by Matthew Kinneman, who is both the founder and CEO. He started as a police dog trainer and found that the food that these dogs ate wasn’t giving them the right amount of nutrients on a daily basis. After doing research and consulting with veterinarians and other experts, he came up with Bully Max.

Beyond its High-Performance Dog Food, Bully Max also produces many other foods, including toppers, instant raw food (just add warm water), a variety of chews and powders, and an oral gel. All are designed to give active dogs more energy and muscle.

Who Makes Bully and Where Is It Produced?

Bully Max is family owned and operated with the primary facility in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. It also produces food in Australia, and you can find it available in Canada through Amazon.ca.

Which Types of Dogs Is Bully Max Best Suited For?

Bully Max High Performance is formulated for dogs of all breeds and ages. Puppies can start eating Bully Max by 7 weeks of age, with water added to soften it, and it’s recommended for male and female dogs. While it was designed for sporting and working dogs, specifically Pit Bulls, most dogs can benefit from Bully Max.

Which Types of Dogs Might Do Better With a Different Brand?

There aren’t any specific recommendations for dogs that shouldn’t eat Bully Max, but you should speak to a vet before purchasing this food.

While it is high quality and lower in carbohydrates than many other brands, the carbs are too high for dogs with diabetes. It’s also high in calories and might not suit dogs with the propensity to gain weight.

If your dog has any health issues that are dependent on diet, speak to a vet first, before making any changes to their food.

If you need to speak with a vet but can't get to one, head over to PangoVet. It's an online service where you can talk to a vet online and get the personalized advice you need for your pet — all at an affordable price!

Discussion of the Primary Ingredients (Good and Bad)

    https://www.instagram.com/p/C2Fb3kBr9AS/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

Generally speaking, the first five ingredients on the dog food label make up about 80% of the food’s content.

    First Ingredient

Chicken meal is the first ingredient in the Bully Max High Performance recipe. This is essentially every part of the chicken in a concentrated form, which also has less moisture than regular chicken. Since it’s more concentrated, it could be as high as 300% more protein than fresh, deboned chicken.

    Second Ingredient

The second ingredient is brown rice. Once it’s cooked, it’s considered a complex carbohydrate that is quite digestible and a natural energy source for dogs.

    Third Ingredient

Next is chicken fat. This provides dogs with a natural source of fat that Bully Max preserves using antioxidants. It’s taken after the chicken has been rendered by skimming it from the top of the liquid.

    Fourth Ingredient

This is where we find beet pulp. This ingredient is harvested after the sugar content is removed from sugar beets and provides a natural source of fiber. This leads to healthy colons and digestion. There is a bit of controversy about the use of beet pulp in dog food, so if you’re concerned, have a discussion with your vet.

    Fifth Ingredient

The fifth ingredient is ground sorghum. This is a gluten-free, starchy cereal grain that doesn’t contain GMOs. Nutritionally, it’s similar to corn and is a natural source of fiber, protein, and energy.

    In Conclusion

If your dog is losing weight or is an extremely energetic pup, Bully Max might work well for you. Some dogs have bounced back after a health scare with Bully Max, but remember to speak to your vet before you invest in this dog food. It is high in calories and can work wonders for some dogs but not all.

The use of high-quality ingredients that have been researched to ensure the health and safety of all dogs is an integral part of this brand. Consult with your vet, and take a look at dog owner reviews online to help you decide if Bully Max is suitable for your dog.
