You were my best friend through some of the hardest years of my life. I could always come home and have my best pal loving everything about me. Some of my earliest memories are you walking up our driveway lost and scared. Some of my saddest memories are the first minute you weren't there.
We've never tried to 'replace' you. We never forget you at holiday and all have our favorite stories. We made a wood replica of you who stood guard at the front doorway for years. I even found a hair of yours in my closet the last time I was home.

Wowie Zowie. Jeter Harris watnts to chase around my Ted. That sure sounds fun. But Dilly would definitely have to join in. I'm not sure Dilly gets around too fast, but Jeter'd stay right with us all day.
We could go exploring and prowling. It would be great!
