At the park

Mommy let me off leash for a while because I don't run away like Cujo does! Boy was it fun to run and play and sniff everything! :)

First visit to mommy's vet.

Liberty had just received her first booster shot the day before we brought her home. We had to go to the vet yesterday because her ears were stinky and she had diarrhea. The vet gave her three different medicines (Endosorb and albon) and some wormer medicine. He also gave her some earwash to use everyday which cleared them right up. However, perhaps the most significant change was the food. He gave us some I/d prescription dog food. It cleared up the diarrhea right away. It is only for a couple of days, but I am afraid it will come back when we start the other food back. (I feed her Purina Beneful Puppy Chow) He told me to slowly incoporate it back in and it should be fine. If it comes back, we will be considering a home-cooked diet. It is so tough to keep them out of eachother's food, nearly impossible. Mommy is at a loss on that issue right now!
