Best Daycare Ever!

We love Ranger's. I've been taking my pups there for over 5 years now, and they are wonderful, well-trained, caring and friendly folks. They have recently opened a new facility that has lots and lots of room and is currently all indoors - great for Florida summers. Boarding, grooming, daycare, training, all under one roof. Awesome!

Good place, in theory...

We live 5 minutes from FPP - how convenient! Except we almost never go, for all the reasons other posters stated. VERY big - hard to keep track of the dogs. The dogs love the lake - but it stinks to high heaven in the summer, and since we have to go in with the dogs to keep them in hand, it's very unpleasant. With our Husky escape artist, we always have to run interference between him and the end of the fence in the water. I have seen a lot more "piles" at this park than any other, and a lot more agressive dogs and aloof owners. Even though my dogs love little dogs, it does concern me that there is no separate area to keep the small dogs safe. But when we have the energy to tackle all the downfalls, our dogs love the place and you can't beat a dip in the lake on a hot summer day!

Really Nice Park

A great alternative to driving all the way to West Orange Dog Park. Smaller than some other parks, but big enough for my big guys. Haven't ever seen it very crowded, and the owners I've met are very responsible.

Great Specialty Pet Store

Pookie's has it all. Really - every time I go looking for something I didn't know they had, they have it. Premium & super-premium foods, Raw, homemade cookies and treats, supplements, toys and all sorts of other cute stuff. There is a second location in Ocoee.

Great Place!

We love Ranger's! And they love dogs. On top of that, the staff has years of dog behavior experience and do a great job keeping the dogs entertained and under control. We go to daycare, stay overnight sometimes, and get an occasional bath. Fantastic, small and flexible place.

Not just "Yuppy Puppy" anymore!

Originally a dog groomer, Yuppy Puppy has expanded to become Ranger's Pet Outpost - a daycare, boarding, petsitting, training and grooming facility. Loki and his sister go to daycare twice a week, stay overnight every few months, and have had baths there too. They are great people who not only love dogs but have a ton of experience with dog behavior. We LOVE 'EM!!!!

Great All-Around Vet

We've seen every vet at EOAH, but our current vet-of-choice is Dr. Manley. She's very thorough and a good listener. Though EOAH is about a 20 minute drive for us, we've been going there for almost 5 years. I like that they are open 7 days a week and that there are so many vets on staff - if you have an emergency and your regular doc isn't available, you can usually get in with another one pretty quickly. Their new offices are very spacious. We haven't used them for grooming or boarding, and I have had some "administrative" issues trying to get prescriptions and such filled correctly. I attribute this to a certain amount of understaffing and a fast-growing practice. Things get mixed up. But everyone is very nice and helpful, and they will often go the extra mile.
