Grandview Park, which opened on October 4, 2003, is 37 acres and the largest dog park in south King County. There is an upper level grassy field where you can enjoy stunning views of Mount Rainier and the Green River Valley. Follow the road down to the lower level and an old soccer field provides a flat area where dogs can race around to their heart's content. There are also trails, nicely gated to keep wanderers from exploring off on their own. Grandview's maintenance is completely funded by its users and SODA. Users of Grandview are encouraged to become members of SODA. Restroom facilities consist of a port-a-potty. Although placed in a nice enclosure built by volunteers, it remains nevertheless what it is. Bring your own water in the winter.
