The mission of Casey's House is to provide a safe haven for hard to adopt cats. Our primary focus will be for cats 10 years or older, but we will consider other "unadoptables" as well. We will maintain the highest standards of care for our cats and provide medical care as needed. We will strive to make our cats' lives happy and secure. By providing a safe place for these cats, we will be serving our community by keeping them from being a nuisance to our neighbors and a danger to native wild life. Casey's House will further accept other domesticated animals into our animal sanctuary on a case by case basis. All animals will be provided the highest standards of care. Casey's House is an IRS 501(c)3 non-profit, so your donations are tax-deductible. Bluemont, VA 20135
Westie Rescue, Inc., is an all volunteer, federally recognized 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives and welfare of homeless West Highland White Terriers (Westies). Westie Rescue facilitates the rescue and adoption of stray, abandoned, neglected, abused and surrendered Westies or Westie-mixes displaying the physical and behavioral attributes of a pure-bred Westie placing adoptable Westies into permanent, loving homes. Westie Rescue serves Westies in need in Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., Delaware, and parts of West Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. Ultimately, the availability of financial and volunteer resources determines how many Westies we can rescue and from where. Our goal is to provide quality care and assistance to as many Westies as possible. Qualified adoptive families are selected through an application process focused on the welfare of the Westie and the need to place the dog in an appropriate environment given the individual dog's background, temperament, and needs. Our primary goal is to place our Westie's in safe, loving lifelong homes
