“Corner of Hwy 75 & Stacy Rd The dog park has a separate large and small dog areas. It has plenty of shade trees, a few benches, and water fountains. Canine Commons Dog Park is a haven for dogs of all shapes and sizes. Open daily from 7 am to 10 pm. ”
Great humans who care about pets!
Jack (our Besset Hound ) and FI ( our lab) love to go to he park to see their friends. There are 2 greyhounds that keep our dogs fit. They run around the fenceline and all the dogs chase them (to no avail) Jack tries so hard as he is in the back of the pack barking as he runs! The park is maintained well by the park employees. And the humans take care to clean up after their dogs. Please come and visit. But please don't bring aggressive animals! Thanks!posted: July 21st, 2012
Yay for Canine Commons
So, me and my humans just love this place. It's so super fun! I can run around all over the place and play in mulch too! There's an area for small dogs and one for dogs like me. I don't like to talk about my weight. :) Anyway, my humans used to come here when I wasn't even born yet so that my little human could get used to seeing and playing with dogs. Now we come all the time to this park!
Canine Commons Dog Park Allen, Texas
Excellent facility. Has room for a couple dozen Big dogs in the BIG DOG area and an excellent SEPARATE area for SMALL dogs. DO NOT take your small dog into the BIG DOG area unless you are prepared to have your small dog suffer some damage while playing with the BIG DOGS., For those dog owners who allow their dogs to attack people or other dogs be prepared to pay the price of a law suit. If your dog can't safely "Meet and Greet" other dogs, KEEP EM ON A LEASH!! Our dog did fine in the BIG DOG area. She stayed for almost two hours and met a lot of nice dogs and calmed down some overly aggressive dogs in the process. The park has water fountains for the dogs. It has grass and ground tree bark for ground cover. There are shade trees and many benches and tables to sit at and share conversation with other dog owners. The entrance is a double gate security system to prevent dogs from escaping while other dogs enter. The park is in the middle of a brand new shopping mall outdoors. There is an adjacent child play area and restrooms and a commons area. I rate this park an "A".
