Friends Fur Life, Inc is a 501c3 all-breed dog and cat rescue operating out of Madisonville TN. We are attempting to make a difference in East TN in a 2-fold way: 1. By adopting out dogs and cats to pre-screened homes that want to make the animal part of their lives 2. By moving as many dogs (and hopefully one day cats) up to areas where there is a bigger need for them. We are seeking to accomplish this by partnering with excellent rescues and no-kill shelters mostly in the north but wherever there is a need. This definitely means puppies but hopefully adult dogs too. By finding excellent groups in other places-we can rest assured that these animals will be well taken care of and the homes will be well screened. crhuntley@hotmail.com
Rescue Organizations P.O. Box 32554 Knoxville, TN 37930-2554 Greyhound Rescue Foundation of Tennessee became a reality in June 2000 with the passion to make a difference in the lives of x-racing greyhounds. We are a 501 (c)3 non profit, all-volunteer greyhound rescue and adoption group. It is our belief that racing greyhounds should all have a chance to be placed into loving, responsible homes at the end of their careers. Our mission is to inform the public about the retired racers, show them to be the beautiful, gentle animals that they are, and make a difference in the lives of as many retired racers as possible. We believe that racing greyhounds deserve every chance to become a treasured family member at the end of their careers, and will strive to provide the best possible homes for them.
