“The mission of the Lycoming County SPCA is to protect all domestic animals by providing shelter, emergency treatment, investigation and prosecution of cruelty or abuse complaints, adoption and counseling, education programs, and humane care throughout Lycoming County. The SPCA, at 2805 Reach Road in Williamsport, PA, sheltered over 4000 animals in 2003. It serves the community in many aspects of animal welfare and care, including health, behavior, nutrition, grooming, spaying/neutering assistance, humane education, identification, and any effort which will ensure that pets reside in good homes. ”
We adopted Dinah from here and are so thankful the idiots who owned her before us knew enough to take her to the SPCA. We also took Dinah to obedience with their trainer, Tracy, and had another wonderful experience learning how to train her with positive attention and without treats. Great all-around place that offers an amazing service to Lycoming County.
A great shelter
The Lycoming County SPCA takes care of so many animals every year and they do a great job!
