“Cherry Park is a great park. Its got about a acre and a half of pure dog fun. A lot of very friendly dogs come here so if you are looking for a good spot for your dog to socialize, or you are wanting your dog to run itself tired, this is the place. The people here are super friendly and always have great advice.”

Cherry Park

Our first time bringing our puppy, Charlie, here we were more than just a bit nervous. Every other dog that Charlie had been around, he tried to be the "Alpha" dog. But then again, every other dog he had been around, was smaller. When we got here, we were scared to let him off of his leash, but we were convinced to just let him go. Best decision we could've made. He tried to be in charge, but the other dogs calmly let him know that, he was not in charge. In a good way. After that, he just played and played and had a blast. That night he slept like a champ. It was glorious. The park itself is pretty simple. Its fenced on either side, but open on the ends. Plenty of room to let your little guy roam/run. Its pretty simple, it does have a small picnic like area. It also features a garbage can with a supply of bags to dispose of the stinky soft serve. The park itself is pretty open with the east part of it being fairly wooded. Not wooded enough to worry about losing your little guy/gal but its enough for them to run around in the woods. I can't say enough about how great this little hidden gem is. The dogs are great, and if somebody's dog does get out of hand, all of the great people around are more than willing to help curtail any issues.
