Almost Home Dog Rescue of Ohio, Inc. (AHDRO) , was formed in December of 2003. AHDRO's mission is to provide homeless Collies, Shelties, and other family friendly dogs a safe haven where they will receive medical care, nutrition and love until an approved home is found; to reduce the number of unwanted pets by altering all dogs in our rehoming program; to educate the public about the importance of altering pets, and to explain that owning a pet is a lifelong commitment. All AHDRO dogs are placed in the homes of approved volunteers until they are apdopted into homes that have been carefully screened for placement

Our Mission To rescue abandoned dogs, promote all rescues and shelters in Ohio and be in dogged pursuit of saving every adoptable dog until we don’t euthanize for lack of space. Columbus Dog Connection is a 501c3, limited admission dog rescue organization. We formed in 1998. We are a network of dog enthusiasts who rescue all breeds of dogs and puppies. Our pooches are rescued from abandonment/abuse situations and we assist shelters/humane societies by taking dogs from death row. Every dog that leaves our care is spayed/neutered, including 8 week old pups. We believe that allowing a pup to leave our care not spayed/neutered would perpetuate the problem we work so hard to overcome every day.

Pets Without Parents was founded in June of 2001. We are a non-profit, no-kill, all-breed pet shelter. Our mission is to create a community that nurtures and respects companion animals, and to someday see that every pet is loved. In order to create such a community, Pets Without Parents functions as a pet adoption shelter, carefully placing pets into forever homes.
