Bordentown City Cats was started in March of 2003 to address the outside cat problem in the City of Bordentown. They began by trapping, neutering, and returning (TNR) the feral cats to their colonies, where they were fed and monitored by volunteers or by their colony caregivers. They then became involved in rescuing stray and abandoned cats, as well as trapping and socializing feral kittens so they could become adoptable, loving pets.
