Sunday November 16This was my first trip to the dog park. I went with my Weimaraner friend Bayliss and my owner Jeff with Bayliss' owners Peter and Silvia. It was a lot of fun! I had never been to any place like this in my life. Jeff rescued me a year ago and my old owners never walked me and they abused me. It was nice to see all of the dogs. A few fights broke out when some of the guests got a little too excited but there was no blood so that was good. I met a few really nice people there too who were their with their dogs. One guy who looked like a marine was all by himself with his two dogs and I kind of felt sorry for him but he pet me a lot so I went over several times to say hello. There were lots of other nice people there too who pet me and told me how handsome I was. I got tired around lunch time and we all left. A small dog got a little too rough with my friend Bayliss on the way out of the park and his owners did nothing. Fortunately we got out of there before the owners got mad at each other. It was a really nice place and I hope Jeff takes me back there again soon! |
dog parkI've been to 3 out of 4 parks in meck county and I like this one best, its the biggest one with plenty of place to run and play. My dog goes crazy when he sees me pick up his porta-bottle because he knows were going to the park. Its also a nice place to meet other dog lovers and mingle. posted: September 6th, 2007 |
