“Minnesota Sheltie Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit rescue dedicated to finding the best and last homes for Shelties in need. All Shelties are current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and heartworm negative prior to adoption, and other medical issues are treated as needed. We do not operate a shelter-the Shelties live with foster families until the right permanent home is found for each dog. Our adoption process consists of an application, references, and a home visit to the applicant's home. We are always in need of additional foster homes, so that we can help all the Shelties out there who need us. Please visit our website to see Shelties available for adoption, or for more information about Shelties and our organization. ”
MNSR saved me
I was rescued by MN Sheltie Rescue. I was only 7 months old and had spent the first 6 months of my life living in a cage. I was diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia, and thanks to the generous donations of MNSR volunteers, I was able to have two hip surgeries so that now I don't have to be in pain anymore. My foster mom saw the wonderful spirit that was hiding in a very fearful body, and now I feel safe and loved with my two Sheltie sisters.
Thank you, MNSR
MN Sheltie Rescue took such good care of me. My skin, coat and teeth were in really bad shape, and the nice volunteers brought me to the vet, gave me medicine, gave me baths, and lots of TLC to help me get healthy. They also chose the perfect home for me, with nice people who will spend lots of time with me.
