began in 1996 with just a few volunteers and now we have are
comprised of 300 volunteers chartered to facilitate the rescue and
adoption of dogs and cats who are strays, abandoned, neglected, abused
owner surrender, puppy mills, or intake requests from Montgomery or Prince Georges County, Maryland or Tucker County, West Virginia animal shelters before a dog or cat is euthanized. PAW also provides veterinary care, medications, spay /neutering and routine check-ups.
