Dog Parks & Dog Runs Barracks and Dauphine St. New Orleans, LA 70116 This Park tucked away in the heart of the French Quarter is 1/2 block large and consists of open fields and a shelter. The park is a bit run down but the locals try to take care of it the best they can. New Orleans Ordinance officially says that dogs have to be on a leash at this unofficial dog park but the locals don't pay that any mind. Dogs run at their leisure while the owners are required to pickup after their four-legged friend. The entrance is on the Dauphine Street side. Water is provided.
