Dogs of all sizes are allowed. There are no additional pet fees. Dogs may not be left unattended, they must be on no more than a 10 foot leash, and be cleaned up after. Dogs are allowed on the trails, but they are not allowed in the pet free zones. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no water hookups at the campground.

Second Chance volunteers rescue pets from local high kill shelters and occasionally accept owner surrenders as space in foster homes permits. Second Chance for Pets relies solely on donations from the public. All of our adoptable pets are fully vaccinated against Parvovirus, Coronavirus, Distemper, and Rabies. They are spayed/neutered (no exceptions), heartworm tested, dewormed, and on flea and tick prevention. They also go to their new homes microchipped (age dependent) and ready to be registered.
