First Coast Beagle Rescue is a group of volunteer beagle lovers whose mission is to rescue, provide sanctuary, and ultimately to re-home abandoned, stray and neglected dogs. Whenever possible we also assist dogs who, because of extenuating circumstances, are unable to remain in their homes with their owners. We are located in the Jacksonville Area.

Sheba and Boots were abandoned by their owner. They both had heartworm and both have been successfully treated for it. Baths were a new idea, and they do not like them much, but some things just have to be tolerated! They are quiet, not guard dogs or watch dogs. All they do is wag tails when someone comes to the door. Sheba is dominant, and should be in a home without another female dog. Boots is the quieter one. Sheba will go in hot pursuit of cats, so probably best not to have one. Both like to be walked and are good on the leash. Both have learned to sit on command. Shots are up to date
