Bark Park is a great new place to walk your dog and meet friends! Located within the traditional setting of Fort Lauderdale's beautiful Snyder Park, Bark Park provides a wonderful opportunity for your dog to play off-leash and for owners and dogs to relax and socialize. It's a great place to enjoy a sunny day!

Days: Open 363 days a year (closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day) Hours: November to March, 7 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.; April to October, 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. Fees:$1 per person, per visit Annual Permits (per dog) Individual: $75/year Family (up to four people): $125/year Two acres of fenced area and agility courses for dogs are available at Bark Park (in Snyder Park). Bark Park Rules All dogs must have proof of current rabies shots or a current rabies tag displayed in ready view. Puppies under four (4) months old are not allowed in the park. Dogs must be on a leash in the parking lot, and on the way in and out of the park. Owners must carry a leash while in Bark Park. No spiked or pinch collars. Owners must remain in Bark Park with dog, clean up after their dog, and monitor the dog’s behavior. If your dog becomes aggressive, it must be removed from the park immediately. No more than three (3) dogs per person are permitted in Bark Park. Roller blade, roller-skating, and bike riding are not permitted in Bark Park. Dogs in heat, ill and/or with internal or external parasites (fleas, ticks, or worms) are not allowed in the park. Please keep the park gates closed at all times. If your dog digs, it must be stopped and the hole filled in by you. All children under the age of 13 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. No human food allowed in the park. Treats to be used for training purposes only. Please feed your dog only. NOTE: Dogs and/or their owners who violate these rules are subject to removal from the park and possible suspension. The City of Fort Lauderdale reserves the right to refuse entry into Bark Park or Snyder Park for the reasons of health, safety, and prior offenses or for the comfort of all patrons and/or their pets. ****!!!!!In addition to Bark Park, swimming for dogs is also available at Snyder Park’s East Lake for an additional fee. Dog Swim is available on Saturdays and Sundays, 10 am to 5 pm, all year, as well as on major holidays!!!!!****
