Great place to cool off in the summerThis is a great place for dogs especially in the summer. They can be off leash and play in the water [Lake Ontario], go for a swim and mix and mingle with other dogs and their owners. A terrific place right at the foot of Cherry Street in downtown Toronto. There is an adjacent people beach but the dogs are not allowed in this area. The only problem is with the snow fence put up for the winter. It can be a bit dangerous for dogs so I would make sure you keep yours away when you visit. It is a bit sharp and a couple of dogs have cut themselves.
