“Dr. Melese is a board certified Veterinary Behaviorist (specialist in animal behavior problems) and sees owners with behavior problems by appointment only a the Animal Specialty Group in Kearny Mesa. Dr. Melese has been practicing behavioral medicine in San Diego for over 20 years and uses modern, humane and effective methods owners can comfortably use to help all species but the majority of the practice are cats and dogs. We currently do not offer routine obedience classes but work primarily with problem behaviors much as a child psychologist/psychiatric would (i.e. with the owner's/parent's help) .”
